“They sent wrong and inferior product and have been unable to exchange or return”

I placed an order but the products they shipped were not the items I ordered. She shipped an inferior item from a different manufacture. What they shipped did not have the same features. I tried multiple times to get information on how to return/exchange the items but have had no success. I've tried emails and phone calls. Phone calls have had very long hold time with no help

I ordered 6 ink cartridges from Ace Office Machines, and received only 4 ink cartridges that expired 4 years ago. I've been trying for over 2 weeks to get return authorization, and am accomplishing nothing. What they say they are going to do, and what they actually do are complete opposites. I have never dealt with a company that is as useless as this company.

BUYERS BEWARE! - THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. IF I COULD RATE THEM AT ZERO I WOULD.
I RECEIVED A PARTIAL ORDER AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY AFTER TWO MONTHS

This is a bait and switch company. They advertise items at low prices and free shipping. Once you order, they charge your card and wait for you to call about your order. They then try to move you to a more expensive order of the same quality and charge you for shipping.
I also thought it was really clever how the representative placed me on hold when I asked for a sypervisor and came back with a different name and the same accent...I couls also hear his bird chirping in the background.

Hate to write a negative review, BUT, facts are: placed order 4/29/22, received ZERO info (good thing I took a screen shot). Called 5/10/22, was told supply issues are happening. Understandable. Got apologies for lack of communication, Austin the agent spoken to, asked for 24 hrs to produce a shipping label. No news, no follow up, no info, absolutely nothing again. Called 5/17/2022 spoke to John, who informed flatly that my order had been cancelled. I discussed the issues up to then... and... he had nothing much to say. So what, I guess? He was totally unconcerned and had no comment. Not getting a sense that anyone cares/seems unreasonable to expect some communication without having to be the one to call and follow up-would have been nice to hear that they care about wasted time, service or the like, but clearly, that's too much to expect. I waited 2.5 weeks for a particular pack of staplers and a rolling mouse pad to help with Carpal Tunnel pain. Not only are they attempting to sell things that they apparently do not have/have access to, but they come across as though they cannot be bothered to inform and communicate, so one may know the status, get what is needed elsewhere and move on with life, already. Not a wonderful time. Not that they have any care. Unfortunate. Never again. I always try to support indie companies, but I should have read reviews first to dodge this time waster. Sorry it went this way.

Don't bother, complete time waster, no consideration for customers.

Purchased a paper folding machine for use with mailings. The $168 machine I ordered was discontinued and the new upgraded model, $329 was available. So I upgraded. The machine destroyed 28 of 30 documents so I left two voice messages and sent five emails over the course of three days. No response. I called the number listed which was disconnected. I found their 800 number and finally talked to someone who found my order and said that I would receive return instructions by the end of the day. Zero instructions, zero emails. I was only able to find where the item was shipped from by contacting UPS. The machine has been returned and a dispute has been filed with my credit card company. When I receive my credit, I intend to claim the card was stolen so they reissue a new number and that will put me in the driver's seat as all they have is my home address. This company is fraudulent. Do not order anything ever from them.

Caveat emptor, dear reader.

After assurances in an initial phone conversation with an Ace employee that Ace had the refurbished printer in stock, that it came with 4 ink cartridges installed, and that it would ship in 1-3 days -- all as advertised online at their Aceofficemachines.com site -- I went ahead with the purchase of their HP Officejet Pro 8600 Inkjet Printer for a total $320.32 including shipping charges on September 21.

Time went by. More phone conversations with Ace staff "Austin," "Max," and "John," but no printer. Because my card had not yet been charged, I kept my concerns in check.

My card was charged on October 4, and I received an email that a FedEx label was printed, but FedEx had not yet received the item.

October 12, no printer, no communication from Ace, and "label printed" same info but no item yet received by FedEx. Yet Ace had my money for 8 days.

I called Ace on the phone throughout the day of October 12 and spoke to "Austin," "John," and "Max," numerous times to let them know that I believed I was being played, that I believed they were not acting in good faith, that I believed their reassurances were not sincere assistance, that the situation was not acceptable, and that they could prove me wrong by actually shipping me the printer in good working order that I purchased and for which they had already been paid.

John sent me the following email:
Admin <*******@acedepot.com> Tue, Oct 12,2021 at 5:13 PM
" Hi! I just called my local FedEx and they still do have the package. Supposedly the item arrived without a label and because of it the package wasn't able to move forward. I will pick the item back up here in a few and will reinspect it to ensure that the item is okay and I will have it reshipped today with expedited shipping. Again I truly do apologize about this inconvenience and will contact you once it has been dropped off and I make sure they scan it."

October 13, I received a FedEx notice that the item was on the way... from Utah.

October 18, I received an Officejet Pro 8600 Inkjet Printer from B&H Printer, West Valley City, Utah. I never heard of them, and I have no idea how they got involved in this transaction. And the printer I received from them is unusable. Clearly, no one "reinspect[ed] it to ensure that the item is okay."

The delivery box did not include a cable for me to plug the printer into the USB connection on my computer, nor are there any ink cartridges... none. I called Ace to say as much, and I received the same boiler-plate response from "Max" that I was given every other time I called them... "we'll notify our team and get back to you within 24 hours." My experience is that they do not call back... ever.

In the meantime, in order to test the printer I received, I borrowed a cable and ink cartridges from a friend who has this printer. The printer turns on; that is all it does. After 2 attempts to "align" -- as required in the setup process -- I keep getting blurred printouts and a message that the alignment was "unsuccessful" which means the printer heads do not align and most likely need to be replaced which would have been done in a refurbish. I attempted to print some images from my computer, and the printouts are simply smears of ink on the pages. For both the black and color settings. This machine was not "refurbished" at all. With no USB cable, no ink cartridges, and clear malfunctions, this printer is not what I ordered, was not refurbished, and is unusable.

A month into this transaction, and after asking all the right questions upfront before I purchased the printer, after chasing its whereabouts with multiple phone calls on multiple days, and after receiving this unusable machine, I believe I have, in fact, been played, and that all the Ace staff involved knew exactly what they were doing and saying.

Shopping for a replacement for my Canon Pixma MG6220 I saw a post by Ace Office Machines for the same printer for $237.49. I reviewed the information but did not see where it said if the unit was new or refurbished so I called Ace. After giving them the item number I was told by the rep (didn't get his name) that the unit was new. I then clicked on a link for Specifications I had not previously seen and it said at the bottom of the list that the unit was refurbished. I called Ace again and spoke to Max. I explained the conflict in info and he said, after checking, that the unit was indeed refurbished. I then asked what kind of guarantee was offered with the printer. He said that the printer had been refurbished by Canon and that Canon guaranteed the printer for one year. I then called Canon and repeated what Max had told me. The Canon representative said that Canon did not refurbish printers, that no guarantee from Canon existed and that Ace Office Machines was not an approved dealer of Canon products. This was clearly a misrepresentation by Max. I decided not to purchase the printer.

DO NOT waste your time! This is the worst experience I have ever had in trying to purchase a little printer.($243.49)When it finally arrived I didn't want to touch it. It appears to have been gotten out of the garbage.
When I called *******962 to request a refund, they told me to email pictures to *******@acedepot.com, and to CC: *******@acedepot.com. I called Dave to confirm that they had received my email. Dave called me back (SURPRISE)to request that I resend... Now that I have confirmed they are VERY FLAKY from other reviews under ACE Office Machines I will in fact dispute the charge. PLEASE learn from my mistake.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I bought a refurbished printer 9/2021. They sent me a printer that wasn't working and suggest I called the manufacturer to get it fixed. I told them I paid $303.79 for a printer that was working not for a printer that wasn't. After several calls I finally got a return label and shipped he machine back on 11/17/21. It's 2/9/22 and I have still not received credit on my credit card. I've called at least 20 times only to be given the run around. ( it takes 5-7 days, the woman who processes the returns is out of the office, transfers my call and ALWAYS get a voicemail and never a call back, etc.) They even gave me a manager's number who can only accept texts. So now I'm out $300.00 and have wasted so much time with this. If you look at google reviews several other people have given them a 1 score. Looks like they have done this to alot of people and they need to be out of business for their bad business practices!

This company should be closed down. Ordered a simple rolodex from this company. Within minutes of placing the order our office was called by a man who stated the model we ordered was discontinued and they would be "upgrading our order to the new one." This man was SPECIFICALLY asked if it was a rolodex or a business holder. He assured us it was a rolodex. The item arrived at the office after quite a long delivery time (for the price of the shipping which was at least 3 times what it should have been) and BIG SURPRISE it was a business card holder. The email addresses on the site are all invalid. Don't order anything from this supposed company. Your money is better spent at a company that doesn't hide facts and over charge you on shipping then send the incorrect item because they know they are next to impossible to contact regarding the problem. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
