Just got my Sony a7R V from 42nd street photo, and I couldn't be more pleased. I got the camera for $100 dollars less than the lowest price of the competitors online. I was a skeptical buying from a company I didn't know too much about, but they exceeded my expectations. I called their customer service for a shipping date, got through within a minute and they got it to me exactly when they said they would with free shipping. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great price and great services.

I shoot in very dusty environments and try not to have to swap lenses mid-shooting. Jonathan was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful helping me pick a new camera and lens. I love the Sony a7iii with a new EF 70-200mm f2.8. The camera is simply superlative. I love every single aspect of it. Good for video and photo, it's the best price/quality in the market right now. The kit was amazing because I got an amazing bag and memory card for free. Great choice, good products.

First-class service. I bought a 70-300mm XF lens over the phone Saturday morning, Jonathan H. Had it packed and ready for immediate pick up and had it delivered to St. Louis. At half the price of the G-Master series lenses, this lens is a great value-sharp as a prime lens. Bought it secondhand from 42PHOTO. Described as excellent and boxed,it arrived a couple of days later, well packed and as illustrated. I'm a big fan and will buy lenses from 42PHOTO in the future!

Sony A7RIVA ordered. I was fully aware it was a grey market camera with no warranty.Matthew called to tell me it was cheap because it was in Chinese and had no wifi.Grey market is supposed to be the same as USA camera without the warranty,the only difference. I also paid to overnight the camera and he said UPS doesnt deliver on friday or the weekends,lol. I said cancel it then and he said he already had never charged my card.He hung up on me. Then tried to call back.I am really sick of unethical businesses.I have been a photographer for 50 years.I know the scams.I will no use 42nd,it used to be a good store, and I suggest anyone using them be very aware they are lying.

The Sigma 50mm F1.4 Art DG HSM lens was dispatched amazingly quickly on the order day (Thursday) and could have been delivered by the next Tuesday had I not changed delivery to Friday, and it was delivered on time. Since this lens was sent from New York to Oregon, the shipping time was excellent. The lens was well-packed and in new condition. It's working perfectly. Thank you!

Best customer service ever. I had a virtual visit to see the tripod and it was fantastic experience, I got to see my model camera and lens on the tripod. It actually was the Nikon Z7 with the lens on the Gitzo GT2542 Mountaineer Series 2 Carbon Fiber Tripod with GHF3W 3-Way Fluid Head Kit. I was impressed with the size of the Fluid Head kit and was also shown how it work. Excellent service once again and a awesome deal.

We went to 42photo and bought PTZOptics 30x, we are using it in a worship livestream setting. Our pastor who is old says it's easy to set up and configure. The 30X zoom is perfect for the distance and works impressively in low light. The salesman recommended these for our contemporary service. Excellent service, purchased a secondhand 12-100 Olympus lens from 42nd Street Photo, arrived well packaged and exactly as described, this is the third lens that I've bought from them and it's the only I would buy second hand gear from un-inspected, I know if an item is not exactly as I want I can return it and their service is always very prompt and polite.

I upgraded from the 24mp A7III to A7RIIIA. Sony hit a home run with this camera body. Best for the money. I'm using it for portraits, bird and Macro photography. Still one of the best in 2022 for the price. The accessories kit was just awesome and threw in everything I needed without separate transactions.
