So we just had the 1-800 got junk come to our home and remove a whole truck worth of crap for $700 plus tax worth every penny Jenny and John were the most amazing helpful considerate not judgmental people that would just come in and grab it they were quick efficient anything we wanted they helped us they put things to the curb I can't say enough good things about Jenny and John who were at our house today April 13th it was an amazing experience and now our costs for moving her gone down by half so thank you again for this wonderful company I will definitely use you again in the near future

Mom was wanting to get rid of stuff and called 1-800- got junk. They arrived Tuesday, all I will say is They left without any junk! We decided NOT TO USE their services based off their lack of professionalism and trying to make money off my mom- until I stepped in and that was the end of that.

What was funny was JD junk just left and said they had to go to another client after moms because they canceled with 1-800-got junk as well….I couldn't imagine why!

Great service! And fast work... very professional! Completely satisfied with the work.

When you go online to get an estimate you get anything but.
The game is to get your information and then have a truck show up and negotiate the cost.
I found a guy on craigs list for half the price and he came the next day.

I had a broken fridge sitting in my office for weeks. I was trying to figure out what to do with it because it was definitly too heavy for me to pick up. I decided to go to google. Thats when I found 1800 Got junk. I was able to make a day of appointment and they picked it up a few hours later. Super friendly guys, I am so happy to have the fridge out of my way.

So I end up calling one 800 junk I talk to a female I told her exactly what I had like a mattress and boxspring and four dressers ready broken down with the drawers and maybe like I told her like 56 bags so she tells me more or less the rate of the price will be $218 so the guys get there the next day and tell me it's almost $700 to remove everything so I was very upset because one tells you one price and then when they get there they tell you another price and they triple it of the price they said so they don't know how to communicate with each other I will never use them ever

Today I called 1-888-got-junk and booked a pick up garbage service. Mark and Adrian were assigned to remove my junks. They called in the morning and gave me exact time for their arrival for removing the junks. They showed up on time and removed all the junks. They were very friendly and professional. Their price was fair and reasonable. Their work was very clean. I am very happy with their service and definitely will recommend them to my friends.

This company takes advantage of people. When my husband placed the order, he specifically requested an empty truck be sent to our home. The 2 guys that came did not tell us until later that they would have to leave to go empty their truck because it was 2/3 full when they arrived. They quoted 800-1000. When they came back after an hour or so, they supposedly finished the job and ask how much tip I wanted to give them. We were not told about giving them a tip. I went inside and ask my husband, who had to stay in the house as he is battling cancer and can not stay out in the heat. He said we were not told about that but give them 50.00 so when I went to do that, the lowest amount I could give was 10% which was 93 or 98 dollars more. I was shocked after they left to find out they did not even finish the job. They said it was more than they thought it was going to be. Not my problem. I have called several times but all they said was they should not have requested a tip and they would refund that amount to me. Now we have to find another company to come back to our home and finish what this half bait, dishonest company did not do. But got paid over 1000. 00. DON'T FALL FOR THEIR LIES. VERY DISHONEST COMPANY.

A friend of mine is seriously ill & her father is in the hospital (in his 80's anyway) she really needed the help & truly doesn't have the money for this & then it was poor service. They didn't take everything they were told to & took several things that were to stay. Left a lot of broken glass on the ground outside, never cleaned it up. Stepped in some animal feces & scraped it off INSIDE the house & left it! Regret ever calling them this time…had previous good experience with them, but this is ending that.

This company sucks they threatened legal action because they are loosing money. They could use there two sense and avoid a house if they did not want it.

I can not say enough about the 2 wonderful young men (Devin and Elijah) that did the junk removal from my son's apartment! They arrived right on time on a Sun. At 9am! They called before to say they would be there in 10 minutes! They were very professional, thorough, polite, friendly, and helpful above and beyond!

I was quoted twice by the scheduling agent that the price would be $350 for 1 truck and $500 for 2. My decision to hire 1800gotjunk was based on this information (8/17/22). I asked them to bring 2 trucks. When the driver arrived there was only 1 truck and he said each truck was $729. I asked the driver about why I was given conflicting information and he said it was common. He said the price misquote is not usually as large as the one I was given, but nevertheless "happens all the time".

I completed a survey afterwards and complained about the deceptive and unethical practice. Their response was to avoid directly responding to the facts I provided. They said pricing was based on volume. They failed to respond to the per truck price difference.

Future customers should be aware of these methods and make their decisions accordingly.

The first time that I used or contacted the company to dispose o household items. The work who were Josh and Javier were very friendly and very nice to work with. They showed up at the exact time that was agreed upon, loaded up the items that I was getting rid of, confirmed that there was nothing else to fdispose of and completed the whole project in about 10 to 15 minutes. As I had never used the company or any other company before, it was great on everything was completed. Will use the company again due to their workers.

Gemere and Asaral showed up well before the scheduled time. About three hours sooner. Professional and respectful. Nice job fellows.

I had 2 workers at my house for approximately 30 min they took 4 mattresses and a power wheels jeep and charged me $806.00. I thought I would get rid of allot more for that price but you live and learn however when it hit my bank the price was close to $1000. 00. I called to figure out where the increase came from and they began to break it down the price of a full load for certain truck then sales tax then they said and a $200 tip... uuuummmmm what I never authorized any tip let alone a $200 tip. I absolutely would have tipped them if they worked longer than 30 min and if I would have at least had half the junk I have taken away but it cost 806.00 to take 1/8th of what I need gone (no way did they fill that truck the way they should have) then a tip is not in the budget. I can't believe they would blatantly steal from customers and how many times have they gotten away with it? If I did not religiously balance my checkbook everyday I would not have found it. My husband keeps a running balance in his head so had I used his account they would have gotten away with it. Super disappointed and dissatisfied with the service.

Called for a saturday appointment, Jesse and Andrew were very nice. They took a small load that day and said they would be back on Monday, they could have taken more but didn't. They came around 9:15 filled the truck twice, second time told me the dumps were closing so they couldn't come back for the rest that day. So, I talked to the manager Sam, and we booked another time the next Friday. Friday July 1st came with a no call, no show. Tried calling Sam and Andrew, no luck. So, I had no choice but to call corporate to get to the bottom of it. Sam called all apologetic said he had no excuse, gave me the "we are understaffed, ran out of time, dumps closing early etc. So, I rescheduled again for Wednesday, I told them I was working and would like them to be there when I got home, with the truck filled up and all I would do is pay them. That did not happen... They were supposed to be here between 2 pm and 4 pm. I called corporate again and Sam, called me right back. His crew got here at 4:25. By 5pm they had the rest of the junk ready FINALLY! Sharkeem and Will were very fast and worked to get things done. For all the setbacks and very high quote, I did not get a discount for the inconvenience or frustration. Will I ever use this service again remains to be seen? I wish I could have given a better review because the gentlemen were all very nice, I just can't. Don't promise to get it done in 1 day when it took 4 different days. No call, no show is really upsetting and makes you feel unimportant. No matter the circumstances someone should have called - Manager or even corporate to check on the job to make sure it was getting done.
