This review is aimed at Uber drivers and I give you the alert to pay attention to the big scam that I just realized as an Uber Eat driver: When the call for a delivery appears on your screen, the rate that you are going to earn appears on your screen. You do the work of picking up the food and dropping it off at the customer's address. A few days ago I realized (I had not paid attention before and had trusted the application) but I was surprised that all the deliveries I made in three days were half and less than half of what was offered, example: a delivery of $7.28 I received $3.08, another of $9.00 I only received $3.5, so after more than 13 miles and tolls my "earning" would be $2.00, which does not pay for a gallon of gasoline, when I call Uber help regardless of transfer me to more than 4 people and more than 2 hrs, their give me different explanations such as: the client did not give you or regretted the tip; something false since that voluntary amount is after delivery and depends on how you have done your work. Drivers, check and if someone else is happening to you, make your defenses and make it public since if we multiply these "differences" in the amounts offered and that are charged to users, the theft or scam amounts to billions of additional dollars that Uber makes its drivers… be careful

Yesterday I sent another request, explaining the situation, they didn't even really read my email Then said you have to pay that €41 house and there's no phone that I can call everything is online, horrible horrible

I was never given a credit for $5 bucks after spending 20.99. No one seems to have any resolution. I will dispute this with my bank. This company is wrong on so many levels. The food is not safe to eat.

I ordered under the wrong address and immediately noticed. Called the restaurant first to let them know not to make the food and they were fine. Then I chat with customer service at Uber and they said I would still get charged even though I have spoken to the restaurant beforehand and it was all done immediately after noticing the error. They have lost a customer. In the past they made a huge 2 big mistake with large breakfast orders, one corporate and another family get-together. Never again.
$74?! Are you high?! A salad & two Quesadillas. The bag was torn top to bottom, food spilled everywhere.

Uber will charge you a specific rate to a destination. Then attempt to charge you quadruple for your return trip. I paid $8.99 to my destination to make an immediate purchase. As soon as I stepped out of the business and requested a return ride the price was,$33.34. Exact same mileage. I wound up walking the 3.2 miles to get home. And I am a 67 year old man with difficulty walking. Thankfully an honest patron saw me struggling down the road and provided a ride. $#*! Uber. I will never use them again.
2 of about 5 rides with Uber left me furious. At times poor (no?) English, stubbornly refused to accept that we were travelling in the wrong direction. Another refused to slow down and meet at the agreed address, so that my 93 yr old mother, who has problems even with a walker, could get into the car, even after seeing/TALKING to me ("noh"). Traveled further down the road and stubbornly refused to move back. Then left without us and has the insolence to charge a cancellation fee. We had to call a professional cab company. Still really pissed off.
Hello, my order got delayed by 1 hour and I tried to reach customer service, only for a robot to link me with an agent who would not answer at all. For clarification, I wasn't being rude to them, as my first message read "Hello" and I waited for 10 minutes before i sent another text describing my problem. I still hadn't got any reply. I can confidently say that this is the worst customer service I've been through. If you won't reply, why do this job?
I placed an order at 10:15 on my Uber app from IHOP it was 22$ and change I took an hr and a half and after I got it I was missing my waffle all I had was a few cut up strawberries and syrup and then they said they couldn't do anything for me. I would have to contact IHOP. Normally they put a seal on your food but I didn't have anything like that on it. I called IHOP and they said since I placed it with Uber I would have to contact Uber

Uber advertises their prices, however once I finish the ride, I find I have been charged an average of $10-$15 more in a "booking fee", "wait time" fee, "airport drop off and surcharges". I prefer knowing upfront what the costs are. Secondly, the only way to communicate is through their APP - no humans, no emails, and if an issue is not listed, there is no way to report it. PS. Donwloaded my bill, but this system is not accepting pdf's or png's -?

I got charged overpriced for a trip and not being enough, they duplicate the transaction. Be careful with this scam stupid platform, they are such a thieves!
I had downloaded the Uber App onto my new cell phone while traveling. I needed a ride from Florida to the nearest airport. When I went to order a car, I was told that they needed to verify my credit card by logging into my credit card account and verify the "2 amounts" that they had put on my statement. I was already running late and didn't have time for that bullcrap. I downloaded Lyft, and they were there within 5 minutes. No problems. Bye, Uber. I deleted you.
Cancelled an order that said it would deliver in 15 minutes and was 45 minutes+ with the driver making no progress. They charged me for the order. I spoke to 3 incompetent customer service agents who copied and pasted responses to me. I've spent hundreds on this app over the years. They won't get another cent out of me. 0 out of 100. They're not only thieves, but they're stupid thieves.
Long waiting time to get trips nowadays, because they keeping adding more new drivers, even add more fees to riders, and cut more from drivers, so the drivers get less pay and opportunities. See my earnings, low as 6 bucks per hr, the minimum wage is 16.55( Ontario Canada)
This company is making a lot of money off people when the refuse to refund you for an order that their driver never delivered it still shows hours later my order still not delivered
My issue is for my poor 81 year old mother who needs a walker to assist her movement. Often times Uber drivers refuse to get out of the car to help her put her walker in the car. She has balance issues and is forced to lift her walker to put it in the car and then walk around the outside of the car praying for balance without her walker to get herself into the car. I know they are not "required" to assist passengers, but common decency would suggest that they should anyway. Very disappointed in the service she receives.

After a 8min trip, with my daughter in an Uber, the fare increased from $8.25 to $28.25!
The increase was caused by the driver claimed to Uber that there was a food mess in his car, and $20 cleaning fee. The driver never mentioned anything to me at the time
We never had any food! Uber has refused to refund the $20 fee, despite numerous requests. Bastards!

I landed terminal C at Logan yesterday; I used Uber to find my ride to Tyngsboro, one popped up as recommended for $56.xx; I clicked confirm, it crashed on me; I refreshed again, the lowest price recommended was $134.xx. Big jump; I had no choice but to use it. Lesson learnt, never again use Uber.
The worst, absolutely awful "customer service" you will ever receive in your life. You will be lied to, and transferred a good million times. Buckle up. Almost every single one of them needs to be fired and replaced.
Uber is a great way to get around the city. They have a convenient app, fast cars, and polite drivers. Sometimes prices can be high during peak demand
Charges you one price when you accept the original price given they then add extra charges to your card taking more money for the same ride after they drop you off a 16.00 ride will easily turn to a 27.00 ride without permission the worst company Rob you left and right.
Uber charges you one price takes it off your card then after you are dropped off at your location they then take more money out of your account then they originally charged you it is a rip off don't take unless desperate for a ride and you are willing to have extra money charged to card for no reason.
There are no phone numbers to speak to a live person I've tried several times to dispute charges on my account the help center is no help at all takes forever to respond I will never use uber again.
