Every once in a blue moon the Cafe's Administration make needed adjustments or improvements and go offline to perform them in order to assure the members' writers stay safe and intact. The site is free and a bit of inconvenience every now and again should be tolerable. I've first joined over 14-years ago and have experienced very little downtime, compared to numerous other sites that have folded or began charging for their memberships

I have been having the same problem and have been posting for almost 4 years now and this is the first time it has been this bad.
