I got to ask what does cheap clothing mean? I see a lot of people saying that their clothes are like rags or seethrough. Is all of their clothing see through or just some? As for rags, nobody indicated what their normal price range is for buying stuff. For example, I've never bought a top that was more than twenty dollars because I buy the on sale stuff that was originally 20-40 dollars. The type of shirts I buy are like aero or Hollister and people might consider that rags. It's a thin material, but it doesn't always fall apart Sometimes it will and then a lot of other tops I have from those places I've had for years.

Everyone-negative and positive reviews need to start describing what they consider rags. People might consider aero and Hollister rags but in my opinion, that's normal clothes I've always worn. I don't get fancy clothes that cost more than a mp3 player just for one shirt. I get nice clothes that last-yes, but I want nicer looking trendy tops that I can wear out and after days of searching I just accept that I'll have to spend extra. But I see people keep saying that Venus is inexpensive and you get what you pay for paying for cheap clothes, but to me 30 dollars for a top is expensive especially as it costs twice the amount I've ever spent on a top.

So my question is are the tops good and they will last for a while and most of you are just used to better quality because you pay more or what? Like I said I get stuff on sale and that. I don't pay full prices for a top ever cause I can't afford to spend $24 for a top at Aero/Hollister, but that is the original price for their shirts normally, so it's good/decent quality in my opinion but in your opinion that could be 'rags', Aero and Hollister clothes are cheap [$10 sometimes a little less sometimes a little more] by the time I buy it. The Venus clothes are usually 25+ and the lowest I've ever seen a top on sale for is $16, so to me this place is expensive, so would you say it would be good/great quality to someone like me because the clothes I wear you might think are rags. OR is the Venus clothes really rags/horrible material[whether it be itchy/scratchy or it just falls apart easily] that not even someone cheap like me would want it?

I love these styles clothes and I can not find them anywhere else at all in my size. This is it. And I see negative reviews here, but positive reviews on peoples reviews of it on youtube. So I have no idea what to do. I really don't have the money to just try it out and see. I don't have the time arguing with customer service when my clothes don't arrive either, but mostly I don't have the 30 dollars for each top to spend only to get nothing out of it.

I like all the stuff I buy. Some of the fabric is very light which means it's prone to popped stitches. Some of my tops the fabric is really thick so it all depends on what the top is made of. I find some of their lighter fabrics can be sheer. I have a couple black tops that are very light weights but if a light is shining on my chest from above my head you can see through it (boob gap and whatnot) and with those same fabrics any white or pale/pastel colours (blue, yellow, pink) can be fairly sheer as well. Wear a nude coloured bra with those tops. Or use them as beach covers on vacation. The dresses and shirts that advertise "hold you in" are fairly thick materials. I have the hold you in dress with the tassel bottom and it's thick material. No busted stitches no see through spots. Hope that helps

I have ordered quite a few things from Venus. Some items were very nice while others were garbage. The issue is I assume they purchase clothing from various vendors with different degrees of quality control. You really can't be certain the item you order is like how it is depicted in the picture. Sizing can vary from item to item as can the thickness of the material. They type of material can make a huge difference, i found some cottons were very thin while the synthetic items were of good quality (I prefer cotton). I stopped ordering when out of the 5 items i ordered only 1 fit as it was depicted in the image online. I'm fairly certain they do a lot of pinning to get the items to look decent. I was swimming in one shirt while on another shirt the neckline came down a lot lower than what was depicted in the picture. Of course you have to pay to send clothing back and if you go below their deal you have to pay for the shipping that was initially free. If they could improve the quality control and ensure an item depicted was VERY close i would buy again. It's just too risky to order when you can't be certain of what you will get. I really like the styles too i wish i could trust Venus but i cannot.
