Question:

How many of these profiles are real

Answer:

I would estimate 90-95% of fake profiles. UkraineDate is a poor joke with bunch of scammers of all sorts! It took me some time to see how it worked and I wasted $400. I love Ukrainian girls, and I meet them on http://J4Love.net now, I'm glad I found a decent Ukrainian dating site. Girls aren't vague about personal information and live video there and they just act like normal women in real life would act. No red flags for scam there. Whereas Ukrainedate is all about scam. You might be able to meet a real girl there, but you would have to be extraordinary lucky.

Question:

I'm trying to find out how "real" this site truly is. it's tough to find an eastern european dating/marriage site that's representing women who really want to marry & come to america...

Answer:

All the pay for response sites I have come across use agencies for profiles, with the same agencies generating the responses. These agencies are havens for scammers, if not THE scammers, yet despite knowing this the pay for sites still use them. For a site like "Ukrainedate" to claim their meddling into your background is to stop scamming is a joke. They are doing nothing about the biggest source of scamming, probably because they are getting a revenue stream from it without much work, and what they actually do witht he additional private info they request from you is up to speculation. It should be obvious posting too much personal information to an Eastern European website that litters itself with scammers is a bad idea. The "bait" messages scammers send out to get you to respond (and pay) are almost always canned responses, not real responses to the info in the profile you posted. Sometimes this is ridiculously obvious. They will be "captivated" by your photo before you post a photo. They will send you a photo of the wrong girl. They will send out a "personal can" without inserting your name, so it is addressed to Dear, [INSERT MAN'S NAME]]. You will get word for word an identical e-mail from two completely different women supposedly in different towns. And if you Google "nude Ukrainian girls" and dig around, you might find one of the girls supposedly messaging you in all her glory without paying a dime. I found two, which considering the sizes of the respective haystacks is pretty damn shameful. I suggest you find a good free site. These are too much work for most scammers to infest, so you will get many more responses. Sure, there are far fewer smoking hot girls in their early 20's just dying to send 45 year old men suggestive opening messages, but did you ever believe that was really true?! The only caveats of free sites is the girls are mostly for real and therefore don't go there just to mess around. Messaging should only ever be a prerequisite to a face to face date, so if you don't have the money to follow through and travel NOW, don't even bother. You are wasting everyone's time and you are just going to disappoint a sincere person. You should also honor the age limits the girls post. The pay sites could lead the naive to believe Eastern Europe is full of models in their early 20's looking to marry anyone of any age just to get out. This is a fantasy. Sure, some women are desperate to marry, but this is for a variety of reasons and isn't the norm. Beautiful girls in Eastern Europe are no different that beautiful girls everywhere else. If a 20 year old posts a limit at 35, don't apply if you are over 40.
