I purchased tickets on Saturday for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers for June 5th 2017. The ticket has a different price on it, a name and sale date from December of last year by the barcode that has me a bit perplexed. Why is that?

Hello Jane! I am sorry about the delay in answering your question. On the naming issue, we at TicketNetwork are a secondary ticket website through which professional ticket-selling companies resell tickets to events. The name listed on the tickets you've purchased is that of the original purchaser. However, don't worry, because this won't prevent you from going to the event. On the pricing issue, we at TicketNetwork don't actually own, price, or ship the tickets you see listed for sale on our website. These sellers price tickets based on their perception of an events popularity and the availability of other tickets. I hope that helps.
