I can say my experience has been the same. It's a scheme they should tell you what your payout will be before agreeing. I sent a $800 brand new 6 week old Sachin and Babi gown tags attached and still on website full price. They wanted to sell it was $160 and i would get 10% F that!

I cannot answer your question specifically but I can tell you that my experience with them has not been good. I think that they are very inconsistent with the prices that they ask for items, especially jewelry, and I suspect that the parties who assess the value of pieces are simply not experienced. But it is important to remember that the asking price for jewelry is usually about 50% of what you paid and then you only get about 50% of that, and frequently less. That is why it is better to take jewelry directly to a jeweler for resale.

I sent them two identical sets of a necklace and matching earrings. One set contained citrine stones and the other contained garnets. Otherwise the sets were identical. They returned the entire set with the citrine stones and only the earrings from the set with the garnets. They said that it was because there was no ID mark on the earrings. But the earrings were exactly the same as the ones that they kept and clearly matched the necklace. I asked them to return the whole set. How stupid! I immediately contacted them and told them to send everything back to me. Fortunately they did so.
