We opted to use Tax1099 this year for our CPA practice as importing data was expected to be easier than the product we used last year. The import for QBDT has worked well. The import from QBO has not worked as well. We tried filing Forms 8809 to extend certain clients. We can't tell who has been extended nor do we have any confirmation of efiling. At this point, we are preparing extensions manually and requesting a refund of fees for preparing the extension as we receive zero value.

As indicated in previous comments, support does not exist. I was able to speak to a live representative. He was totally clueless. We were not able to resolve issues through email either.

As we get closer to the deadline, we have to resolve our problems. Tax1099 does not seem to be able to do that. We are having to resort to non Tax1099 solutions including using competing products. We will take that into consideration next year when we select the online product that we want to use.

I did speak to Mechelle from support and she seemed very knowledgable. Do call them again and maybe ask for Mechelle and see if you get a better response.
