Should I expect my recently purchased "New" PS5 to be opened when I receive it? If so, how is it considered to be "New"?

Hey Angela! That's a great question! StockX defines "Deadstock" as authentic, new, and unused. We do allow the original box to be slightly damaged, such as minor dents and rips. We do not allow boxes with major rips or tears. However, just like all products on our site, our dedicated verification team will thoroughly inspect each item to make sure it is authentic and meets the condition requirements. Please note our verification team does not break the factory seal during this process.
