If you wish not to add the $49.95 to your online account, you may Skip the Month on the 1st - 5th of every month and you are good to go for the month. That way, you are still maintaining your VIP status so you can be eligible for promotions, accumulate reward points, and get discounts whenever you decide to buy but won't be charged on the billing cycle.

If you "skip the month" you won't be charged anything. That's the only way to avoid any hidden charges.
