It doesn't seem to matter if I get 300 clicks or two. I haven't made a single sale with shareasale since I started promoting again. The reason I stopped before was that sales just stopped, as if someone flipped a switch. I joined one merchant and made two sales in the first week. After that, zero. As if the merchant, or shareasale, had turned off the tracking. I've since had highly niche-related links clicked hundreds of times without a single sale. I used to love shareasale because it was the only parasite-free affiliate network. I never made a lot of money but I regularly made sales. However, now I have literally hundreds of highly targeted links and no sales for months, so I now want to ask DIRECTLY - Can a merchant remove tracking code so that the initial click is registered but not the resulting sale? If so, is this something shareasale can check? Does shareasale ever remove an affiliate's tracking code before point of sale or turn it off?

Neva - we check up on things all the time, and yes there can be mistakes, removal of tracking code, etc... it can happen though it is pretty rare.

If you email me to brian@shareasale.com I would be happy to look at your site, look at the Merchants you are promoting, and make sure that there are no tracking errors or anything along those lines.

I many even be able to help you figure out why those clicks are not buying.

Shareasale are stealing from you and there's no way to prove it or do anything about it because they control the tracking. They're using you to make them money. They want you to contact them so they find out who YOU are so they can manage you, not so they can give you your commissions.
