To contact us please login to your account and click on the menu icon which is found on the top right hand side of the screen on desktop mode and the top left-hand-side on mobile. From there simply click on the "contact" link and fill out your contact request. If you are having difficulty with this please provide your username here and we will have customer support contact you.
That usually happens when the person has deactivated their profile. People come and go from the site all the time, some even prefer that their profiles don't show as active when they're offline so they deactivate, and reactivate when they're back online again. When those people reactivate their profiles, those conversations will once again be active for you to continue with. Please contact support so that they can look into any issues directly.
