Hi Crystal, Great question! So some of the sellers whom sell through out site have arrangements with either the venue, promoter, or band/team/who and know exactly how many tickets they will be getting and where. Others have access to certain pre-sales and already have their tickets secure. In either case the sellers who can list their tickets on the secondary marketplace, prior to the tickets being on sale at primary, are sellers we have vetted and know can deliver the tickets that they are selling. Hope this answers you question! Warm Regards, SeatGeek CX Team
Hi Lisa, I am more then happy to assist you with this. If you could provide me with the order number I will be able to check and see. While we are the primary ticketer for SeatGeek Stadium, and therefore do sell primary tickets to events there, we also allow for people to resell tickets on our platform. So by looking at the order I will be able to let you know if you got primary tickets or if they are a third party seller. Warm Regards, Locke at SeatGeek
Thanks for reaching out. I can definitely shed some light on whats going on. Most box offices put the name of the original buyer on the ticket. This is just for record-keeping, though. The name on the ticket doesnt actually matter. When you get to the venue, theyll just scan the barcode to make sure its valid. Hopefully this helps, but please let me know if youve got any other questions! SeatGeek CX Team Email: hi@seatgeek.com Phone: 1-888-506-4101
Hi Joanna, if you need three tickets, just make sure to filter your ticket listings to show "Quantity: 3". Some sellers have settings in place that only allow their tickets be split into certain groups to prevent them from having a single ticket left over, as single tickets are significantly harder to sell.
Hi Rodel! If the game is tomorrow, you'd be guaranteed to receive the ticket prior to the start time of the event, but usually almost instantly. Delivery methods of tickets vary by team and venue and can cause differences in the delivery time, but our Buyer Guarantee ensure's you'll get your tickets in time to get into the game!
In the past, most tickets were made available immediately. In the last year or two, though, more and more venues, teams, and performers have been enforcing what's referred to as "delayed release" policies for events, which essentially means that be box office holds on our releasing tickets until closer to the day of the event. They typically do this in an effort to control fraud and to ensure the security of your tickets. Not to worry! Your tickets are still guaranteed in time for the event!
Not at all! All purchases are backed by our Buyer Guarantee. Sellers are required to fulfill orders with valid tickets, and if there are any issues with that, you're guaranteed a 100% refund or better, or replacement tickets to the event if there are any available!
