Hi Scaria! As long as your account is fully canceled, you will not be charged for the subscription. We're always happy to help with canceling your subscription via email at help@scribd.com or support@scribd.com. Thanks! - Zoë, Scribd Customer Support.

They will still charge you even if you cancel your account. They have charged me more and more, even after unsubscribing. They got up to charging me every week of the month. I had to go to my bank and have them de-activate the debit card Scribd have the info for and get a new card. That was literally the only way to stop payment. They will charge you $8.99 once a month at first, then they will charge that up to 5 times a month, and eventually they will start charging you $89.99. They are a total fraud and have literally no contact info whatsoever. They operate illegally, and I even spoke to law enforcement about it, and they have thousands of complaints against the company but no real way to get to them. All their info (what little they provide) is totally fake. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT sign up AT ALL!
