Is RussianBrides and all sites such as this one a scam??

No not all. Just view the sites with a healthy scepticism. It seems that those sites that apply transactional charges for mails are dubious whereas those with a flat membership charge are more likely to have genuine membership. Then all you have to do is sift through the individual scammers to real women. Not impossible, but anyone trying to part you from cash should ring alarms

NO QUESTION WHAT SO EVER THAT THE COMPANY IS SCAMMING. The people in customer service know what is going on because of all the complaints, but they cannot talk. They the company do not care when you complain about a woman who writes you two consecutive letters both apologizing for not responding not being aware of the previous letter. This happened to me on several.occasions.

It became am addiction for me,
In the beginning did not realize and basically wrote to mainly a few woman, later on i got bombarded by many many very young woman, It took me over a year and couple thousand dollars to discover. I also wrote to a woman for someone who had been writing to her, she wrote the same love story to me.

You can also tell by a chat anyone is writing you in is not even the woman, on several occasions they did not know who i was after a long back and forth correspondence, they also ask stupid questions to waste time while you bill runs up. One lady after being a sophiticated lady in her letters did nothing but sex talk on a chat and never mentioned anything our letters

I'd have to agree with Ronald R. flat fees are usually legitimate as opposed to pay per msg or minute.
