Is there really any money to be made off the coupons? We just accepted a $68.14 purchase and after a $25 discount to the customer we received $43.14. Our business is going well enough that we can just sell $68 worth of food to those already in line. What is the real benefit here to established restaurants, certainly not the 'profit' from these transactions

If restaurant.com really conducted business ethically, which is highly questionable, their program could benefit a new restaurant by driving new customers their way. Unfortunately, it appears restaurant.com does not operate ethically, and may even be engaged in outright fraud. Not sure how they can remain in business without being shut down by authorities.
