Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Poshmark staff and previous consumers.
I would dispute the charges they are scammers. That's why you can't reach them by phone.
To answer that question among other questions asked regarding the site, you need to maybe set up a payment card. Additionally the sellers are rude on there, and the purchasing is very unfair. Something you planned on purchasing and made an offer on, the seller will sell to another person. The site is very unfair. They also do not make the sellers update their listing, and when you purchase something the seller will comeback with that is no longer for sale. They do not make the sellers do in detail sizes, and they do not make the sellers post more than one picture of an item. Like a shoulder bag (1 picture and no size), when Poshmark should say nope cannot list without more photos and more detail and you must respond to questions within a 24 hour time frame. Another issue I find is that they want you to share your listing so it gets out there and you can share any one else's items, and I think if you share another sellers item you should be able to leave a comment for Instance "this is nice" will get more attention. I have been on the site since 2016 and it hasn't been upgraded to anything but now the live poshmark shows which to me are a nuisance as a lot of people work during the day and do not have time to watch a show.
That's like me. I buy a lot on Poshmark. I Buy things I loved when they were retail, but sold out too quickly. I buy specific pieces to match pieces I have. I buy a lot of clothes for my teenager. She'll grow out of a favorite outfit, and I'll buy her the new size. I'm perfectly normal. I don't know why I have so many followers. Every seller I've purchased from follows me and a lot of times, if I like something, the seller of that item follows me. Can you see if the posher has left ratings or reviews for other sellers? Can you reach out to their followers to see if anysone has sold to them before and can give you more info?
Congrats! Be sure to go to your sales tab. Print out the label and get it mailed off in a timely manner. Then once the buyer receives it they can rate or wait 3 days and the funds clear if there are no complaints. Always remember to wrap with care and since all items on posh are priority mail in the USA you can use free Priority mail supplies at your local USPS location. Congrats on your first sale! Happy Poshing!
Please note that a lot of the reviews are mixed due to personal errors regarding their understanding of the terms of the app. Yes, there are good and bad of any platform. Always in any circumstance do your homework and gain as much knowledge as possible about the app and or the shops you enter transactions with. Look for legal certified business sellers that have a brand or sellers with larger stores. These sellers have anchored themselves in place within Poshmark and would be great places to start. You can comment questions on items. Never discuss price publicly on Posh. There is an offer button for that and you can add an item to a bundle then speak directly to your potential seller. Always look pictures over completely and always read all the description. A lot of buyers leaving bad reviews are guilty of not doing that. Keep yourself informed and in the know about what you are buying and from whom. Check out the love notes and or the seller's overall interactions. Good luck there are some great deals on the site waiting to be found! If you are a seller starting out. Always be sure to take well lit and eye catching clean crisp pics. Always include as much detail about your item and describe it accurately. Ship as soon as possible and reach out to buyers if needed at anytime. Be polite, friendly, helpful and honest! Happy Poshing! Hope you find what you are looking for!
