If it's what I'm thinking of... they show you (or him) a profile & you select yes, no or maybe you would want to meet them. If you select yes or maybe, they get an msg saying that you want to meet them. It's pretty fun! :)

Me too! They are completely unresponsive to my emails. Even PayPal cannot get through to them. My thoughts? Plenty of Fish is a SCAM, either that or they are completely and utterly stupid and incompetent.

Why are there so many fake women on pof, ie. they reply to you saying they wont talk to you over the pof website and will only talk to you if you join up with another website?

I've heard rumors several of the other dating sites like POF are owned by match.com which exhibits similar rip off traits no refunds, etc, etc. Which would explain a lot...

Answer:

Your account may have been hacked. Check the email account associated to your POF account. Log out of it and then login. If you cannot login, then you'll need to reset your password. Run a FULL Virus scan (pc or phone). There is a way to contact POF support, you'll need to check their site. POF is NOT as good as it used to be PRIOR to their 2020 upgrade. Go use MATCH or something else because they REMOVED a lot of free features after the LAST upgrade. Good luck.

This is just a way to get you to pay for the account. They all basically have a catch to them some you can join free, others join and write but I know of none of them you will actually get down to meeting someone without paying the service in some manner (It is probably not worth it)...
