Question:

Does tonemeter keep track of messages that use unacceptable tone on the co-parents part?

Answer:

Hi Stacey, ToneMeter is built to give you insights about your tone before you send a message. It does not analyze messages that you have received from your co-parent.

Third-party users can see when the messages they send are first viewed by their recipients. They are unable to view the "Last Viewed" information for the different sections of OFW like the calendar.

Question:

Is it true that my ex can add anyone to read our email exchange and never have to tell me?

Answer:

Both parents are able to grant Professional Access to their attorney, mediator, therapist, or other legal or mental health practitioners. Professional Access provides a birds eye view into parent communication on OFW. If only one parent grants access to a professional, that professional will only be able to view communication from the viewpoint of the parent who added them. This eliminates the need for a parent to have to copy their professionals on emails or send periodic updates about communication with their co-parent. If your co-parent has added a professional, only they will see this information in their My Account section. The professional will not have access to view communication from your viewpoint unless they request access from you or you invite them yourself. If your co-parent sends a message on OFW, and you and their professional are both selected as recipients, you would see the name of the professional as a recipient of the message.

Question:

Is my ex notified when i send a message, even if he is not yet a subscriber?

Answer:

Your co-parent must activate email, text, or push notifications in their account to receive alerts about new messages and other activity on OFW. If your co-parent is not already a subscriber, they are provided with two grace logins to sign in and use their account before needing to activate their subscription to continue accessing their account. Using these grace logins, your co-parent could check for new messages and activate notifications.

Question:

Has anyone else ever used ofw?

Answer:

Yes, I've only been using it for 2 months. I can say it isn't user friendly. If you make an error posting a reimbursement the other party can refuse the payment (obviously a viable option) but then you can't go edit the reimbursement or delete it and the monetary error stays in the total of money for both parties. Then if your ex chooses electronic transfer it charges BOTH parties. I have a problem with that because I'm typically the one with the out of pocket expenses to begin with. I'm sure there's more unpleasant news I could share. But those are my biggest issues right now.
