Answer:

Abay, you can definitely port your number to NumberBarn from Cricket Wireless then park it for a month. When you return, you can then port it back to Cricket Wireless. We have outlined the whole process on how to port back to Cricket Wireless here. I recommend that you read through it before bringing your number over to NumberBarn: https://numberbarn.groovehq.com/knowledge_base/topics/will-my-new-carrier-accept-a-numberbarn-number Should you have any questions, we're always here to help answer via support@numberbarn.com.

Question:

Thanks for answer brian. that's sad if a # is gone it is prolly gone how do we know if a company is solvent enough to park with them? all seem too new

Answer:

This is a great question, Bob. An indirect answer to your question is if a service provider does decide to close their doors, you are notified in advance and can port your number to a new service provider. How to determine if they are solvent enough might be to see which carriers they work with. Or, you can read reviews online for others that may have had great success with the company. If I can answer any specific questions for you, feel free to reach out "support@numberbarn.com".

Question:

Answer:

Hi Jennifer, You can definitely port your faxline to NumberBarn; however, we do not offer e-fax solutions. We can switch your number to a dedicated fax line, but it would only receive and forward faxes to your email. If you have the capability of sending faxes, and managing other fax related services, then NumberBarn might be a good solution to receive and forward faxes to your email. But that is the limitation of our fax service. I hope that helps. I want you to be as informed as possible when making the decision as we're here to meet your number needs, not frustrate you. Have a great day.

Question:

Our provider can not grasp putting our service on hold, but will lose our # if change. does your service hold the number permanently and normally?

Answer:

Hi Dale. We're sorry to hear about the frustration with your current service provider. NumberBarn will gladly hold your number for as long as you'd like, and then work with you when you're ready to move it out. It's your number, and we want to make sure your number needs are met. Porting is always a tricky business, and sometimes may need a little grease to get it into our system or ported out, but we're happy to help however we can. Have you had a chance to review our pricing and plans: www.numberbarn.com/pricing? You can park your number for as little as $2/month, or use our forwarding plan for as little as $6/month. I invite you to verify that your number can port at www.numberbarn.com/basket, and send any other questions to support@numberbarn.com.
