Thanks so much for checking in. We are not aware of our product causing skin darkening to the eyelids or around the eyes. The clinical trials we conducted did not show any side effects. Lash enhancement products should not touch the eye lid. Application is a thin line of serum placed on the upper eyelash line inner to outer corner of the eye. Please check with your optometrist to make sure you are a good candidate for our product. Ingredients are listed below. Hope that helps!
