Hi John, To see the status of a family site or data subscription, including a free trial, log into your account, click on your name in the upper-right corner of the screen and select My Purchases. Here you can check the status of your site subscription and data subscription, by selecting the relevant option on the left side.

If you take the dna test, does myheritage build a family tree from the results?

Answer:

Testing your DNA with MyHeritage provides you with two types of results: An Ethnicity Estimate - a comprehensive breakdown of your unique DNA composition. You will discover where your heritage originated from and how much each ethnicity is part of your ancestral origins, and even view the main life events of your direct ancestors on the Ethnicity map. DNA Matches - This technology compares data from autosomal DNA tests results and family trees to identify matches between users that share genetic sequences and indicate a family relationship. While DNA testing will not automatically build a family tree from your results, it is integrated into your family tree research and will certainly help you build your family tree. Same thing happened to me... about the time I also realized information I entered into the biography fields was corrupted or deleted. I sent screen shots of the error codes to their technical customer support team with no response. Good luck.

Ancestry.com brags that they cover 26 ethnic regions with their dna test. how many ethnic regions does my heritage cover? i am doing comparison shopping and want to get "the best bang for my bucks" my heritage is cheaper that ancestry and i want the most out of my investment.

Answer:

DO NOT USE MH IT IS MUCH WORSE THEN ANCESTRY. I used the tree and dna kit and they are both much worse then ancestry. Please make the switch if you haven't already decided.

Hallo brigitte. je hebt mij heel fijn geholpen, maar vandaag, 20 mei zit ik weer in een impasse. wanneer ik op het prictogram myheritage family tree builder klik opent dit het programma met het dialoogvenster quick-start wizard. wanneer ik hierin op bestaande genealogieproject laden klik en vervolgens op volgende, verschijnt de keuzelijst. wanneer ik hierin mijn keuze heb bepaald en vervolgens weer op volgende klik, gebeurd er helemaal niets. ik denk niet dat ik blij ben met dit programma. vriendelijke groeten henk torenvlied

Can i order a printed book version from the book pdf on my family tree information?

Dear Ann, Thanks for contacting me and I'll be happy to help. If you would like to print your family book, we recommend that you save your Family Book as a PDF file and take it to your local print shop to have it professionally printed. If you have created a Family Book on your online family site, you can find it in the Charts & books section. 1. Please move your mouse over the Family Tree tab on your site and select Print charts & Books. 2. Go to the My charts tab. 3. Here you will see the list of all the charts and books you have created on your family site. Click on View PDF to open the Family Book in PDF file. You can save it on your computer and print it at home or copy the file to any media device to take it to your local print shop. If you would like to print the Family Book that you have created in the Family Tree Builder software, please do the following to open the Family Book as a PDF file: 1. Open your family tree in the Family Tree Builder software on your computer. 2. Click on File in the upper menu bar and select Manage trees. 3. Click on the tree name in the list, and then click on the Go to folder button on the right. 4. You will be redirected to the projects directory on your computer. By default, all charts and books are saved in the Reports folder. Open this folder to find the PDF file of your family book.
