I have recently subscribed myself on Match.com and have received a billing of 90 Euros in my bank account. I don't want to pay these people and want to cancel my account. Can I simply delete my profile and cancel the booking in my account?

Cancel your card and get a new one! They will trick you into more charges! Total scam site!

You need to contact your bank and report this as a false billing just as if it were a stolen credit card. You may need to close that account and replace it with another one for protection.

SO YOU KNOW: A-L-L ONLINE SITES THAT REQUIRE ANY BANK OR CREDIT CARD INFO WILL PLACE YOU INTO PERMANENT AUTO RENEW LIST AND SOME STORIES HAS IT DOING THIS EVERY FEW WEEKS.

THIS IS THE SAME AS STOLEN CREDIT CARD AND/OR BANK FRAUD.

Be advised, these sites are consumer scams.

I STRONGLY suggest you keep a record of all transactions. If you have the chance, you should contact customer service via instant chat and ask them to ensure that your membership is cancelled and CANNOT be renewed. I'm saying this because in the even that they do renew your account, which is very likely, you will have a transaction of your conversation with the match.com customer service dept. In the even that you notice issues with your credit card being charged again, simply call your credit card office and inform them that you've been charged for something you did not request. The CC company will ask you to provide any records you may have regarding this issue and to send it to them. You will be reimbursed by your CC once they run an investigation. Do not waste your time contacting match because their system is designed to frustrate you rather than to help you. Keep a record of EVERYTHING you do with match. Once the CC company receives your records, match can't do anything.
Furthermore, I would suggest you tell people you know to stay away from match. Ignore this site like it was a virus.

There is a place to cancel, but it will only cancel the auto-renew you didn't want but had no choice in when subscribing. Once you cancel, it will tell you the date the current subscription will run out. Otherwise, you're stuck paying for the amount of time you signed up for. I could have sworn that if you cancel within 3 days you are not charged but that was never my experience,

Whenever I called to complain they said it's based on if you've sent an email or not. I don't know how true it is, but you can try and call to see what they say is your best bet. But like everyone else said make sure to cancel the auto renew. They're very tricky and money hungry.

Be sure you cancel the auto renewal before taking down your profile. Else you'll get a nasty surprise come next year with another charge.

No your screwed cant cancel this crap. Few real members all are dead 30 day trial profiles. Your better off on plenty of fish. Be sure it doesnt renew. As it will automatically write them to be sure it doesnt. Biggest waste of money.
