Hi Susan, Legalzoom just makes the forms available to you. You remain oblivious to the real legal process of Bankruptcy. Bankruptcy is very serious, please use a real lawyer. If you use legalzoom, you will find yourself in trouble later with no help from Legalzoom. Use a real lawyer, it will cost you more money, but worth it. The cheap service of Legalzoom will cost you more in long run.

I did not do anything with them related to bankruptcy, but I can say that I will probably not use them for ANYTHING again.

Beyond the waiting which is annoying. Legal Zoom is going to prepare your paper work and give you a checklist of things you must do, I can only imagine all of the steps you will have to take. I recently helped a friend of my wife's with a Divorce. LegalZoom prepared all of the paper work and provided a detailed checklist of things we had to do. While the paper work was accurate the steps and process were taxing. Remember in both cases after you deal with LegalZoom then you deal with the government. Good Luck. Be patient.

Don't use them for anything. When you call, be prepared to hold for twenty minutes. If you do get someone and ask them a question, they will read you a response from the computer. If that doesn't answer your question, you will be told that someone will call. But they don't call, they send you a email saying to call in. The answer to your question is saved in the computer. If this doesn't answer your question, the process repeats. Not to mention they will charge you monthly fees for stuff you never signed up for.
