I would like to add someone to an existing deed for a property i own. how do you do this?

Answer:

You may need a quitclaim deed for that purpose. Additional names to a deed are added under the Grantee section. https://www.lawdepot.com/contracts/quit-claim-deed-form

Question:

Interested in making a will for myself and wife. lawyer says it is $500. we just have a house, 2 cars, 2 children, 1 checking account, my 401k. can we do your $21.95 option instead of going with the lawyer at $500? would i need to do anything with the state of georgia after putting in the information into your website?

Answer:

Our Basic option for $21.95 will allow you to create as many Wills as needed for yourself or other family members. Once you create and save one Will, click the New icon to create a Will for another person. The question template will provide options for witnesses and/or notary signature. I have received a 1099c from a bill collector for an home equity line of credit on an investment home that was foreclosed over 8 years ago. what can i do to avoid or minimize this devastating tax? they want me to pay taxes on $55,000 for cancelling a debt as if i earned the money.

Yes, you advertise absolutely free but what is the actual cost to do a simple will. i don't have time to complete one and then find out i can't afford it. thank you

Marnie, if you select the 7 day free trial offer and cancel within 7 days, there is no charge for any documents that you prepare. You can also select the Basic offer for the one time charge of $21.95. This gives you two week access to prepare, edit and print the Will and after two weeks, access to the document will automatically expire. Within the two weeks, you can edit, print and download the document to your desktop.

Hi, i'm logged onto the main page with all the reviews and no matter what button i push if searches for better than 3-5 then stops searching and goes blank w/o an error code. every button does the same thing. help!

The information that you entered will be stored in our secure servers and can be accessed only by signing in to your account. Additionally, the order process occurs through an encrypted connection. We use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL/TSL) protocol with 128-bit encryption strength to transmit sensitive information. Our forms are drafted and revised by our in-house legal department.
