I can not get the slideshow that I embedded into my blog to start playing automatically. Everything works fine after I push play but I do not want to have to push play. I need it to start playing as soon as someone visits my blog page,

If you watch your slideshow on your blog from a computer then it will begin to play automatically. When you watch it from a mobil phone or tablet then it is being streamed which means you will need to press they play button to start it.
