I have just purchased a $350 dress for my first prom and ordered it to be custom made for my size. Can I trust this?

I ordered a wedding dress which arrived three days before my wedding. It was lace at the top and tulle at the bottom. I paid extra for custom sleeves as the sleeves provided were way too big. Before the dress was made, I had a back and forth with jjshouse about the specifics of the sleeves and photos with a tape measure around my arm were sent to ensure the correct fit.

The dress that arrived could have been beautiful if the lace wasn't torn in about 20 different places, including right on the breast.

The sleeves were way too large and not even connected properly.

The shoulder area are two different widths which is very obvious when the dress is on and one side is off shoulder and the other is on shoulder.

I spoke to a customer service rep on the website who assured me that I could take it to a tailor and send them the receipt and I would be reimbursed.

Most tailors in my area wouldnt touch the dress given the damage and the very small amount of time given to repair it.

I found one tailor who would do it for a decent sum considering the job. Before I paid for it, I contacted customer service to reassure me that jjshouse would in fact reimburse this sum, she guarunteed it. So I paid the money.

Now jjshouse won't reimburse my money, even though I provided a receipt.

To make it worse, lace can't really be fix but only stabilised so it doesnt further deteriorate.

So now... I've paid double the amount for a torn rag which I will have to wear anyway.

I'm seriously heartbroken.
