Hey Randy, Sorry for the delay in the response, just saw you left this message. The lights should stay on and not blink, if you are still having this issue maybe try re-inserting the batteries. They should not blink though, this is the first time I have heard this issue with the Enchanted Rose Flower Lamp. Please let me know if the issue has continued? Thank you, Inspire Uplift
