on 1/4/20It is obvious the reviewer had all the problems that he incorrectly blames on Gixen because he has visited other websites that have put malware/spyware/keyloggers/viruses on his computer.
He won't admit that his problems are his own fault so falsely blames GIXEN for his own incompetence.
There is no problem with Gixen, I have used it for years with excellent results.
Deliberate false review?
Why would you sign up for a service that apparently - in the reviewers opinion - had problems? Clearly those that use Gixen will identify that there is no download - it is web based. It is subjective, without objective evidence of the source issue.
It's the first but not the only. Either that reviewer is confused about which service he was reviewing or he's a crank. His review has nothing to do with the quality of Gixen.
The poster said "could be coincidence, but..." Sitejabber shouldn't really allow such things to be attributed to a company without evidence. Gixen is cloud-based and you don't have to download anything. My defender services have never blocked me from going to Gixen, and I have been there hundreds of times.
Gosh, that's quite accusatory! I am a retired, 60 year old woman from West Sussex in the U. K. I have been using Gixen for about five/six years and I have to say, I've found it brilliant for getting most of the items I bid for. I've missed out once, because I put a bid in about 10 minutes before the auction ended and a couple of times when my bid wasn't high enough. Other than that, it's been brilliant and I've been very happy with winning items easily. The guy that runs it is super-engaged and I feel sorry for him that he has to endure these rather malicious comments, quite frankly.
This review that is posted appears to be that of a disgruntled person and is not indicative of my experience with Gixen. I have only praises for the gixen service and the support team.
No idea what this contributor is on about. Compared to the mass of positive reviews Gixen has received, this stands out like a sore thumb!
Gixen is not an application it is service. If you are ebay customer you will like it
No clue why this person blames Gixen for their troubles - but as it is not an app/software the claims of containing malware is hilarious.
Not sure. People get frustrated when auction sniping. It could be a real user that just didn't know what they were doing. Or it could be a competitor trying to make them look bad. Either way, Gixen is great.
Similar to Frederic L and others that have since posted, I've had no issue and am also totally satisfied with Gixen. I found it by google search years ago and after confirming it had good reviews, tried it. I've never had an issue has always worked perfectly.
I can't speak to the only posted review, but my experience has been totally opposite. I am totally satisfied with Gixen; my review should be the second one for Gixen.com.
Wow. Whomever posted this comment has too much roughage in his kibble.
Do not know why this is the case. Maybe since several sites do not post sniper reviews
The negative reviewer blames Gixen for a concidental software issue that clearly had nothing to do with Gixen. I do not believe that review has any validity.
Gixen is great. Obviously whoever posted that review didn't know what they were doing because Gixen is amazing.
If you read the answer from the owner, you will see the review is probably not legitimate. I can't imagine why somebody would have posted it. Gixen has always served me well.
I don't know, but Trustpilot has nothing but good reviews (388 of them)
I'm suspicious of the websites of major newspapers and news networks, and any site located in Russia or the UK, but I've never had any hint of trouble at the Gixen site. Unless this guy lives in a bubble, there are lots of other places he might have gotten into something.
