Hi Judy! GiftRocket is a little different from your standard gift card. All of our gift cards are redeemed online (not at the suggested business) and we send cash to the recipient. The recipient can then spend the gift money at the suggested business or any way they choose. We like our gifts better in part because there's no certificate to carry or risk losing and never any leftover or unused funds (regular gift cards are lost/wasted at about 30%!), all with the personal touch of a gift card/greeting card. Of course! We'll cancel ANY unredeemed gift within 30 days. Just shoot us an email at support@giftrocket.com or use the link in the confirmation email to cancel.
