If you are looking at the bril logo on the product, the charging port is to the upper left side. It's covered by a little rubber cover. Pull that up and you can connect the included charging cord to the bril. You can then connect the USB to any USB charging block. USB charging blocks are used to charge cell phones, so you should be able to use the same block from your cell phone charger.

The blue light is not the UV light. It is merely a visual indicator that the device is working since UV light is invisible to the human eye. It's possible that the UV light is on while there is a malfunction with the blue LED. That said, please email service@getbril.com and we'll make sure you have a properly functioning device.
