on 12/2/15No, my experience with them was beyond being able to just label it a bad experience. I'm 59 and it is by fair the worst company that I have ever had the displeasure to deal with.
A bad experience always make you feel angry. It's easier to go and tell the world how awful a experience was. But we tend to forget to make a positive review when everything went as we expected.

It can go well when ordering there. But I wouldn't ever want to take the risk. Again. Just got confirmation from paypal, case closed=closed. So Gearbest tricked me to close the case and now I can wave my money goodbye
Gearbest does have a bad track record mostly because people expect their items in a short time. Coming from China and having to go through US Customs, "short time" is out of the question. However, they do also have some issues with getting items delivered at all. And customer service is very minimal and low standard.
With anything, it is about perception all on how you see things. I received all off my products, any concerns I had they rectified them there is one item that was out of stock and has taken longer for me to get, however I do have a tracking number for the item. Some people hate Mcdonalds some love it. Honestly the products I have are great and I didn't pay a lot for them. You can pay with pay pal so its a win anyway.
I am still not an old customer, but to me they were fair and I can say I am satisfied.
Also true that as José said people wanna spread more bad experience than good ones.
This is my first experience with them. I'm not impressed. They said today the item will be sent out in 2 business days. It was orignally ordered on 17 November! I will wait and see.
Negative people always more active. Ivthink you know that rule.
