Here's what you need to know about GearBest:
They do have legitimate items. These items are the same as the items you would find at most other sites unless they are identified as clones or "styled" after authentic items.
They will ship for free just about anywhere in the world. You can expect to receive your purchase in one to two months assuming they have the item in stock. Sometimes they may not have the item in stock but do not state so. In that case expect your delivery time to be even longer. You can pay extra for faster delivery. It will still take about three weeks to get (again, assuming they have it in stock to begin with).
If your item is defective, taking too long to stock or you do not like it, be prepared to be ignored or get the run-around. Be prepared to write many (10 - 20) emails and due to the language barrier, repeat yourself endlessly as to what your problem is. IF they finally agree with you, they will place a CREDIT in your Gear Wallet which you can use to buy more items from them. Hopefully you do not repeat this frustrating cycle again.
They do seem to respond to Paypal more than the customer. I would suggest you use Paypal exclusively to make purchases and to use Paypal to resolve any refund requests. In the end, it may be wiser to purchase somewhere else in order to save a great deal of frustration.

I got all of my orders quite quick... but I always use express delivery and PayPal payment

Don't bother with Gearbest, the prices are good because you never get your item. I've filed with the BBB and they don't respond to them either... Good Luck if you purchase anything from them...!

I wouldn't. My experience is after purchasing few light bulbs on 31 of July I had to wait two months before they declared it as lost in post. Another two weeks later I got partial refund in GB wallet with no way of getting money back. Luckily paid via PayPal and after opening dispute, got all money back three months after purchase date. Now that I asked for GB to delete my account they only offered to remove me from their mailing list.

Basically, when you order be prepared to wait and get mad. There is no chance that something will be shipped without raising tickets to them. Belive me. Buy better from amazon

Everything I ordered on their site showed up, and I didn't pay for shipping. I did not chose fast delivery which would be additional cost.

My advise, dont buy anything from them, I have bad an experience, u try get life chat, always tryied hundreeds "happy "customers ask money or products, u be ready wait many hours, then this person tell u contact support centre, if u contact, they started make exeuses such as it takes month u get money back, we sent, many... dont risk it...

No! They never sent the missing landing skids to my quadracopter after 20 or 20 emails. They said they shipped it. They did not. I never used my $70 Quadra copter because it did not have the landing skids. I just got so sick of having this exact same conversation with them by email.

Minor shipments via Gearbest do get a lot of free or low rate delivery options.

Bigger shipments do cost, lets face it, soon as it starts getting into a higher weight category its going to cost them to send it to you internationally, so of course they are going to charge.

Other companies do the same, so if you can find another that ships internationally for £0 and is cheaper, please feel free to let the reset of us know.

P.s. Use a credit card or paypal, that way you always have a safety net if the order isn't delivered correctly.

Steer clear of the site they are brutal and they will promise you the moon and stars and if you are lucky enough they will deliver you the darkness. Run a mile mate. Good luck.

Avoid, still fighting for my refund through paypal

Do not send them money. They use misleading advertising very often, its free bit then its not free shippong. Or if you really want to send the money try to use only Paypay so you will have a chance to get your money back if dont get your product.

They are OK if you use Paypal and tracked delivery

The only order i did not take tracked got lost on route and they were not to easy to get cash back from... got it in the end as i told they refund or i would claim with Paypal for item not received

I guess the rule is just shop safe with them and you will be OK... Other wise go to other sites... eg Fasttech

One last thing don't trust reviews on GB they don't put negative one up... at least at Fasttech they have a good forum where you get honest answers

I would not order from Gear Best again. They are not a reputable company. I ordered an item and received it three months later after multiple calls, emails and complaints. They ignore their customers or ask you to check with you local post office. Just read their reviews online. While they aren't a scam, save yourself the triubl and order elsewhere even if it means paying more.

They are crooks. I really believe now that they have a policy where they do not deliver maybe 10% of orders. How else can they be so cheap and that there are so so many people complaining that they have not received goods. Surely if you had that many complaints and you were honest then you would change your courier? At least do something that would rectify the problem. But they are not interested and I think it is a policy where they pocket the money and this allows them to offer cheap goods - only delivering a certain fraction. So - I would not send them any money - you will be lucky to see your original order in my opinion. AVOID.

Yes run from them. I'm in the middle of a charge back with them.

Demand your money back. If after a few days you still havent received your moneyback open a case with paypal or your credit card company. Buy somewhere else.

Always use paypal as indicated above. Also, you only pay for expedited shipping, all normal shipping is free. But as also indicated, hope you are not in a rush to get it...

I have noticed if you purchase more expensive items, such as cells or tablets, that you can get Netherlands shipping for free worldwide and from my experience, this is the quickest route to take to get your stuff without risking any duty fees with courier services...

Even if Netherlands is not free, it's still only a few bucks, which I think is worth it.

3 months later and I still have no item, no refund but plenty of promises of delivery dates and a refund. GearBest is nothing but a scam any positive review is BS.

Not enough detail if you choose the shipment of the EU, to many countries is payable

I had a bad experience with them. I would not pay any more then the product discription and if there is a shopping problem, open a case with PayPal. Save all your ticket discussions with GB as a screen shot. You Weill need that for a resolution center dispute.

All I know is they sent my order which took 1 month and a part was missing (the battery pack) after many emails, on line chats, etc... they finally sent a replacement which was about 1 month later. Not many people seem to be happy with this company.

No the company gear best is not skim. But want to warning you, it takes to long time for shipping the product. I have order an product in Augustus and till now nothing received! I warning you. Meaby you have better luck if you will order an product that you will received sooner then me.
