In my case, I bid, I was hire, I did the job, send the archives, all through the system... and never got paid! I've been complaining with support for a month... I give up, but I cant even close my account!

I may be in the minority, but my main problem is the entire system --the way their advertising and bidding works. Everyone who doesn't make money from Freelancer are the ones making Freelancer money. I know I said that in a previous post, but I think it illustrates their business model well. Any company is in the business of profiting. And they profit far too much from people just bidding and upgrading bids, and test taking and other silly nonsense. I've never been paid, so I have no idea what the payment process is like, though I hear it's worse than your worse nightmares.

Hey, the main problem which everyone has faced be it a employer or a freelancer is that, if you have any money in your freelancer account, and want to transver to bank, they will limit your account on the basis of stopping 'money laundering' as stated in their terms and conditions.
I was scammed of $1580. 34 dollars, when I asked back for the payment, like everyone even my account was limited. It took me nearly a month of interest lost and headache to get my money back. Most people don't.
Remember never ever attach any credit card or PayPal or other accounts to freelancer, few days back I was debited of $15 from my PayPal account(was still attached to this site). I mailed to ask why was I debited, they said premium membership, I said I dint apply for any nor I want one, please refund, guess what they limited my account, after many days of emails they removed the limitation and refunded.
