It is my understanding that Adobe purchased Fotolia in 2015. I read the current terms and conditions and looks like you cannot copyright or watermark your images for sale on Fotolia. You do get a commission off of each image that sells, but what is unclear is whether or not someone can buy just one of your images - and then reproduce that image on their own or somewhere else, and make much more money selling hundreds if not thousands of copies of your image for decorating homes, businesses, etc. If this is what happens, you end up making peanuts on your image while it enriches others. Fotolia needs to explain this further and clear up any confusion!!
