A letter explaining is sent within 30 days of the application. Check your email and if you didn't get it or need additional help the Customer Service Team can assist by phone.

My son wasn't approved either and he names more than I do, we called and talked time customer service and was told wait first letter. Once he gift the Kettering we called back it was something is simple his address the information they use to verify who you are didn't match is he had to redo his application, and change something.

It's not really based on your credit it's based on the checking information and if you have direct deposit going into that account regularly. That's what it is. My son makes more than 60k a year and he was denied because of the checking and him not having that account history long enough.
