You should send them an email to see if they can or cannot modify your dress as you requested before ordering. Most of the time they are happy to oblige though.

It will absolutely take way longer. Terrible shipping experience with them - false claims and delivery dates.

We have 5 girls who have placed orders for dresses to be worn for a june 3rd wedding.... after reading these reviews, i am now concerned the dresses will not be here on time.... should the girls cancel their orders?

Answer:

I've never waited longer than a couple of weeks for any of the 7 or 8 dresses I've ordered - and that includes customized sizing and alterations to sleeves, hem, etc.

I ordered my dresses from eShakti using their customization program. I'm nominally a size 12 when buying off-the-rack clothing, but because I'm transgendered, my shoulders are a bit wider than the typical female. By having my eShakti dresses sewn-to-fit, I get clothes that fit me much better and are much more flattering to my body type.

Answer:

I have not had that issue at all. If anything, they're roomier than expected. When measuring, don't suck in, just leave the tape slack.
