on 3/15/16This people are professional scammers, they think they get away but some day the fraudulent and shady practices will come to light.
Quite honestly, it's pretty bad... Everything from the sneaky tactics, spam, and generic customer service, designed to leave you angered and frustrated. Spend the extra money and go with a better known option. Dream Host, Host Gator, or anyone like them, they seem like angels in comparison.
Sure, just keep away for the safety of your credit card, they will charge you anytime for whatever reason and you will spend a LOT of time just to get your money back
As with the others, this was my personal experience.
From my experience, they are.
I stand by my review. Although eHost never admitted to taking extra money from me (even when I sent them screenshots of my paypal with the transaction numbers) I did get a fair bit back by issuing disputes on Paypal (they didn't even bother responding to the dispute). Now I'm in a position in which the domain (my actual name as I'm an author) is locked to eHost for the rest of the year as they won't respond to me telling them to take the £15 fee for transferring it to me from the money they still owe me. I'd say that if there are a lot of people saying the same thing in their own way and they're not trying to point you towards a specific alternative you can consider it general consensus rather than another company's attempt to down-rate the competition. I can't speak for others but I just can't express how much I wish I'd seen these reviews before using them. Please heed them.
I wasted a lot of time and money
Yes, I was ripped off by them, I had to threaten them with legal action before they refunded me under their own '45 day money back guarantee' policy. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. SERIOUSLY.
Can't say for all the others, I just vouch for my own dreadful experience.
With my case, bad reviews is true and trusted.
I only know about my situation
I stand by my review 100% - its honest. Personally I am more 'alarmed/ worried' when I see regular rave/ high scoring reviews than when I see bad reviews. Consider both the good and bad reviews about a company/ product. Make your own judgement call. Good luck.
True bad reviews. I had a terrible experience with eHost. Bogus charges to my credit card, never could get money back. Terrible.
WARNING ALERT; E-host is a company involved in international credit card fraud and identity theft, they demand a copy of your drivers license and credit card or passport for your own security, priceless! This is highly illegal and fraudulent and should be reported to the FBI and Interpol. They operate out of the Philippines with NO USA due process of law to protect you! The positive ratings in this site are actually from their own crooked employees, just trace their IP for confirmation, pass this along to all concern and network among all countries to prevent this theft!
Not sure what might be the best way to suite this people! I was charged for 109,- euros for nothing!
I got my money back eventually when I had to flag them as fraudulent in Paypal but wasted loads of time in the process. No apology and poor service.
