Why are there so many negative reviews and customers saying "DO NOT USE THEM?"

They don't pay approved claims and use stalling tactics saying please allow up to 60 working days to receive your money. After 60 working days, they tell you they can't process your refund due to "technical issue with payment system." What the hell is that? The reason they do this is so they hope you give up and that many credit card companies will not allow you to dispute a transaction after so many months.

This company should be shut down and hit with a class action law suit. But don't take my word for it. Read the other 400+ reviews stating similar experiences.

Because you will pay them several weeks or months for a car rental voucher. Then you will fly and go to the rental agency counter and the rental agency will not honor your voucher. Then you will rent a car at the rental agency's higher rate (now you've paid twice) in desperation because you need a car and have to get going. Then you will try to contact and settle with Economy Bookings. They will be very slow to respond and you will be lucky to get a partial refund. When all is said and done, you will have paid about twice the price for a rental as what Economy Bookings says you will and you will have endured a lot of headache in the process.

Bottom line they are crooks! Traveled all day, had made and confirmed reservation way in advance. Got to Boston airport and had to drive 3 more hours from there. Waited forever at sirport for them to pick us up. Car was supposed to be at the sirport. Had to take a packed bus to their locations where there was no car, had to take crowde bus back to airport where I had to pay an additional $300.0o to get a car from another company. Told they would reimburse me. It never happened! I spent countless hours trying to fm deal with their non existing customer service. FI NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Because I ended up with no car from them. Their telephone support was useless telling me I could email them to get my money back! And then I had to negotiate on the spot, which does not put you in a good bargaining position, for another car which cost me three times as much as I contracted with ebookings.com. I think they're either a scam or one step removed from a scam!
