Thanks for your question. If you do not win the auction you will see the buy it now button. By using the buy it now option you will get the item for retail price and all bids back to your account that you used in the auction. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they both get the item they initially wanted, as well as retain all their bids. Please let us know if you have any other questions and be sure to read more about us here: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work
Unfortunately, overbidding is a phenomenon we cannot explain. Users are completely responsible for the amount of bids they place in an auction. However, in some rare cases you can see this kind of situations happening. We do not have an explanation or reason why someone would overbid. This does not benefit neither bidders, nor DealDash, since it makes our overall customer experience worse and makes us look dishonest. However, since we do not have any kind of control on bids placed by our users, we cannot avoid overbidding. I hope this helps clarify. Please let us know if there’s anything else you need. We’ll be happy to help.
If you are talking about the "auctions", you join by purchasing your first pack of bids, you can see what is being auctioned at the time and near future by scrolling through their "auction" pages, or you can search or browse merchandise they will offer soon, if you choose to bid on something you must wait until the last 10 seconds then you click the bid button, you can and should book a "bid buddy" which you add as many bids as you want and let it bid for you, that way you won't miss the win due to bad timing. The sight will give pretty detailed instructions. The bid buddy will bid for you as soon as the timer gets down to 1 second. Once you win, you go to "your dashboard" and pay for the product and it is mailed to you. The price you pay is the total, no shipping or extra charges. Once you join, you will be able to buy bids at much lower rates than the initial investment. You can bid on bid packs too, which helps you have more bids to use on the higher priced items. It truly is fun and I have gotten some amazing deals, I have lost some too, can't win them all but I have been able to acquire everything I really wanted. Good luck.
