Hi Tina, Teachers schedule LiveLesson sessions (usually one per subject per day), and other work is done independently. Teachers are available outside of the virtual classroom for more support if needed. Outside of the LiveLesson sessions, work is done independently, and students can typically complete their schoolwork any time of the day, any day of the week. ~Alexis
Hi Malorie, Teachers schedule LiveLesson sessions (usually one per subject per week), and other work is done independently. Teachers are available outside of the virtual classroom for more support if needed. In general, there is no set time to log in outside of the LiveLesson sessions, so students can typically work any time of the day, any day of the week. For information specific to the school(s) in your state, please email us at community@connectionsacademy.com. Thanks! ~Alexis

Hi Kayla, Alabama Connections academy has built-in vacation days in their school calendar or students may choose to work those days and are allotted a number of vacation days to take when they choose with the understanding that teachers take their vacation days according to the school calendar. ~Alexis
Hi Dave! Diplomas from Connections Academy are accepted at all colleges. For example, here is a list of colleges that some of our students in Arizona have been accepted to: https://www.connectionsacademy.com/arizona-online-school/academics/college-careers. If you would like state-specific information, please send me an email with what state you live in at community@connectionsacademy.com. ~Regina
It's fast if you apply for the school in late May/June-ish. For us, we applied around June and we were able to get in early July. If you wait until July/August they're going to put you on hold for a while and you might be put into a situation where your kid has a backlog of "overdue lessons" because they weren't able to attend school. I strongly recommend applying as soon as possible.
