Sadly, yes, it now follows Common Core. It never did before, which was one of the reasons I loved it. Now they've adjusted the Elementary program to follow CCSS. Look into a different program if you disagree with CCSS.

It is a public school, it must follow the same curriculum requirements as other public schools in the state. In our state, yes Common Core.
