Stay away! I booked a car with Carflexi online and paid required fee. At the airport, when picking up the car, it turned out that additional fee was required. The second fee was not mentioned before I made the booking. I used another rental company but never received back the initial payment. Looks like a scam to me...
$108.00 AUD. They accept the deposit via debit card but when you go to pick up the car from the hire place, they request a credit card and will not allow you to hire a car without one. Carfly is the name. I find this very strange because I ha e hired cars before without a credit card, just used my debit card.

Generally, within 12 - 24 hours a booking is confirmed. During the booking procedure the downpayment amount is only blocked from your credit card. If the booking is confirmed then this amount is deducted. If the booking is declined then this amount is released. Thus, you will be able to the downpayment amount credited to your account.
