Why do you need to pay a membership and then plus pay the sitter on top of that.

I have filed a complaint with the BBB with no resolve.
I am a fantastic caregiver and they just terminated my account! No reason given. I also contacted the Today Show but haven't received an answer. I will continue my attempt to discredit them as they have discredited me. They're malicious!

Think about it... if you were a scammed, would you pay if you can get people's personal information for free. I paid for my membership to let people know I was real. Once I had a job or found a sitter, I stopped my membership.

Unfortunately Care.com only CARES about making money! You pay a fee and then you have to pay for the sitter too. The potential sitters also have to pay for expensive "background" checks and other B. S. It's a shame!

Because people tell you if you help me and lend me money we will hire you. You lend them money bec you want to help and they scam you. This site is a total scam just avoid it altogether.

That's a stupid question. The site gets paid the membership, do you think you can get a sitter for $39/month? NO, the sitters fee is their fee. Is this a real person asking this question? Even my small child could answer this and if you honestly did not know, then you have bigger issues than care.com

The membership is only for the use of the web site - nothing else. $20 per month is pretty expensive, plus they do not give you an option to try it for just one month. They put you on the automatic monthly payment plan unless you find the way to cancel - which isn't easy.

Turn them in to the BBB of Massachusetts. Then to the Federal trade commission, this is the only way to stop their shady business practices. Care.com keeps the most awful caregivers and sitters on their site, they dismiss the good caregivers, because they make their money sending you rotten ones atop rotten ones, if you a good one, you wouldn't need their site, it's a shame.
