I used a provider to dogcare and she started skipping on it, so, i terminated her employment. After couple weeks, i posted a reciew about her on care.com and she text me back that if i don't take the review down she will tell her family that I behaved inapproriately with her. She has texted me again and called me names. Need help?

Take a screen shot of the text she sent you. Document that text. If you think she can potentially cause you harm, report her threat to the police. If she claims you were inappropriate with her, she could cause you a tremendous uphill battle for a long time. That threat shouldn't be taken lightly. Reporting her to your local police will document her false claim.

Stay as far away from care.Com as you can. Block her number, Etc. I wish I never would have even heard of care.com. My number is out there now and I have been getting repeat texts and calls that have nothing to do with what the site was intended for.

Good answer Pam. Also print off the caregivers page from Care.com with the review you wrote. The caregiver might cancel her account to get rid of the review if she hasnt already. Or care.com might have removed her already. There is no way to tale down a review. care.com will not take down a review after it is posted. Closing the account is the only way. I would be careful reporting this to Care.com Care.com has a reputation for closing all accounts with any issues. They will tell you "Thank you for letting us know" But then terminate your membership and ban you from the site. If you read the reviews there are tons of them that say I left a review and then was thrown off the site.

I'm not sure if the site has a complaint division but personally, I would leave an e-mail with Care.Com and report to them what has been happening. Perhaps they can help you get to the bottom of it because she should definitely not be allowed to harass you in any way. They could threaten to remove her for violating some of their rules.

Well, if anything happens, the phone records will show that she has not stopped contacting you. You also have the text for proof.
