Care.com uses a predatory approach to its customers by roping you in by the free to get started ploy. Then after you spend time making your advertisement, choosing caregivers and the lengthy sign up process you s realize that you were scammed. THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT A BABYSITTER ON CARE.COM WITHOUT FORWARDING YOUR CREDITCARD. THERE IS NO WAY FOR A BABYSITTER TO LEAVE HERE PHONE # TO A PARENT UNLESS THE PARENT PAYS FOR THE SERVICE. This only the opening scam... Then after you sign up and pay the service care.com will contunie to bill your card for the rest of your life. EVEN IF YOU CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD THE BANKS WILL FORWARD YOUR NEW CARD TO CARE.COM. YOU MUST CANCELL YOUR ACCOUNT AND CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT OR CARE.COM WILL CONTINUE TO BILL YOU FOREVER... The problem is closing your account is sometimes problematic and Care.com will not close it for you... Figure out how to close your account before you open your account and put a post it note on your computer to close as soon as you are finished with the service. The next scam is the biggest of all. Care.com sells everyones personal information between the 16 counties its in and 50,000 accounts it has open today... Dishonest American Care.com employees are doinf this and making a killing... So your credit card information and first and last name, address and the whole shabang will be exposed. GOOD LUCK!

I am all in for a class action law suit. Count me in. I live in Stafford, VA. My account was cancelled after leaving negative reviews about a caregiver that didn't workout and a no call, no show for a scheduled interview.
