Thinking about buying the titanium 53cm road bike for my son about 5'11'' to replace his recently stolen bike. are there "special" issues with this bike; can he put a rack on the back? he'll need the bike for his daily commute with a pannier containing a laptop and rain gear. thank you. david

Answer:

Hi - wow- you are a nice parent! Officially, we don't suggest putting a rear rack on these Titanium Motobecane Le Champion Road bikes as they don't have rear rack mounts. There are easy to find adapters that are clamps that allow rear racks to mount. We'd suggest a backpack. It's more aero and can be tucked under a rain jacket.
