Yes. Airbnb collects ALL the money, including any and all "extra charges" paid by the guest. They also collect the hosts security deposit (many other agencies allow the host to collect their sec. Dep.) Airbnb then pays the host their % after the guest checks in, in the form of payment agreed upon. As a side note, GOOD LUCK getting any monies from your security deposit that airbnb is "holding for you" in the event there are missing or damaged items, violations of rules, or special services provided to the guest. Airbnb will run you through the mill in order to wear you down, and in the end you may get a small portion of your claim, or nothing at all. If you file too many claims, they delete your acct. With no warning no matter what an "awesome superhost" they've been telling you that you are or for how many years you've been a loyal host to them (I was a host with them for 6 yrs, since they first began.)
